Objective To compare the efficacy between dental operating microscope (DOM) and traditional root canal therapy for complicated root canals,and find an effective method for complicated root canals. Methods A total of 346 pulpitis patients were randomly selected and divided into microscope group ( n=182) and traditional group (n = 164). The microscope group received DOM technique,and traditional group received traditional method. The success rates of the two groups were compared. Results The success rates of treating calcification root canal,instrument fractured root canal,MB2 root canal,"C" shape root canal and a second root canal were significantly higher in the microscope group than in the traditional group (P<0. 01). Conclusion DOM has advantages of being visual and operable in the treatment of complicated root canals. Its effect is better than that of the traditional method.%目的 比较根管手术显微镜(DOM)与传统根管治疗在疑难根管治疗中的疗效,以寻找疑难根管的有效治疗方法.方法 随机选取牙髓炎患者346例,按照治疗方法将其分为显微镜组(运用DOM治疗,n=182)和传统组(运用传统根管治疗,n=164),比较2组治疗成功率.结果 显微镜组对于钙化根管、器械折断根管、近中第二颊根(MB2)根管、“C”型根管、失败再治疗根管的成功率均显著高于传统组(P＜0.01).结论 DOM对复杂疑难根管的治疗具有可视性及可操作性,效果优于传统根管治疗.
