主编特邀--湍流两相燃烧的基础研究和数值模拟

         

摘要

Turbulent two-phase combustion(spray or pulverized-coal combustion)is widely encountered in power generation,aeronautical and rocket engines,internal combustion engines,and chemical and metallurgical engineer-ing. It is a very complex process,involving turbulence,two-phase flows,chemical reactions and their interactions. To develop and design highly-efficient and low- pollutant combustion facilities,it is necessary to improve the accu-racy and rationality of numerical simulation based on the understanding to its mechanism and the establishment of more accurate mathematical/physical models. Since the 1960’s,the author has been engaged in the basic studies on droplet evaporation and combustion,coal-particle combustion,two-phase turbulence,and gas turbulent combustion,and Reynolds’ averaged modeling and large-eddy simulation of pulverized-coal and spray combustion.A brief review of those studies is presented in this paper.%湍流两相燃烧(液雾或煤粉燃烧)广泛存在于热能装置、航空和火箭发动机、工业炉、内燃机、化工和冶金炉中,是极其复杂的过程,涉及到湍流、两相流、化学反应及其相互作用。了解其机理,建立更确切的数学物理模型,有利于提高数值模拟的合理性和准确性,更好地服务于研制设计高效率、低污染的燃烧装置。作者从20世纪60年代到现在系统地进行了这方面的基础研究和数值模拟研究,包括油滴蒸发和燃烧、煤粒燃烧、两相湍流和气体湍流燃烧等,以及煤粉和液雾燃烧的雷诺平均模拟和大涡模拟等。本文是对这方面研究成果的简要综述。
