Based on the tracking data and academic performance data on Blackboard, the study, with quantitative analysis, in-vestigated the invariance of gender and ethnic in the use of a computer-based course management system and their association to learning outcome for free normal students. The findings show that: (1) the male free normal students do not effectively use the online learning platform, and their academic achievements are poorer than those of female students. (2) Han and ethnic minority students e-qually use the online learning platform in terms of log-in frequency and time length, but the Han students can achieve higher aca-demic outcomes by taking advantage of the online learning platform. On the contrary, the ethnic monitories get lower academic out-comes without interactively participating in the online learning activities. The study provides practical evidences on how to establish an equal online learning environment for free normal students with different backgrounds.%基于Blackboard网络教学平台提供的数据，以免费师范生教育硕士为研究对象，采用定量分析的方法，比较了不同性别和民族的师范生使用网络教学平台的差异性，分析了可以影响师范生最后学业成绩的相关因素。研究结果表明，男生使用网络平台的学习效果不如女生，其学业成绩也低于女生。汉族和少数民族学生在使用网络平台的频度、时间等方面相差无几，但是汉族学生的学业成绩显著高于少数民族学生。其原因在于汉族学生能更有效地应用网络资源开展学习，而少数民族学生在网络平台上参与教学活动的深度不够。基于实证研究的结果，为建立公平的远程教学系统提供了实践依据。
