以分水岭作为研究范围，在流域的基础上进行了民居聚落研究，先对海河流域的流域范围、气候特征、地貌特征、水系特征进行了分析，进而给出其所处的文化亚区特征。以此为基础，探讨了区域范围内的民居聚落适应地貌与气候的技术特征，进而发现其生态文化特征，是将人居环境建设与保护自然环境相合，将城镇化进程与区域自然和人文环境相结合的创新性研究。%Chinese traditional dwellings and settlements have experienced thousands years of inheritance and evolution .On the basis of constant enrichment of the architectural forms and build experiences ,a correspond‐ing inheritance pattern has generated .It is not only the people's residence to shelter from storm ,but also the wisdom after long -term's living with nature and society .This research takes watershed or basin as the range of study and studies the dwellings and settlements on the basis of basin .Firstly the article analyzes the range ,climate feature ,geomorphic and drainage feature of Haihe River Basin .T hen the article gives its sub-region's cultural characteristics .Based on that ,the article is seeking the dwellings and settlements'technical features to adapt to the geomorphology and climate in the region ,Moreover ,the article finds its ecological culture characteristics .The research is quite innovative as it mot only combines dwelling sand settlements'environmental construction with the protection of the natural environment but also puts urbanization process ,regional natural factors and human environment together .
