Based on the research of development situation of LBS at home and abroad and combining with the characteristics and problems of LBS's application in commerce ,the article analyzes the merchant's demand as it is one of the two main bodies of the food and beverage industry .Using SPSS and the method of cross analysis ,the article analyzes the demand of installing camera with video cloud service and the suggestions for installing cameras in the different positions ;For the further understanding of the merchant's functional requirements to the video cloud service based on LBS technology ,the article uses the principal component analysis method and the idea of dimensionality reduction for consideration .At last ,the article makes some conclusions .Firstly ,in almost all types of restaurants , he lobby and queue areas are suitable to install video cloud cameras ,but it should give full consideration to the dining type when installed in the kitchen .Secondly the four highest demanding functions for the innovative application are the emergency function of group buying evaluation ,the function of queuing and booking ,the function of monitoring restaurant internal environment and the function of providing basic information about restaurant .%在借鉴国内外 LBS 发展概况基础上，结合广州市 LBS 在商业中的应用特征和现状问题，基于餐饮行业的两大主体之一———商家的需求进行了分析。利用 SPSS 软件，采用交叉分析法对具有视频云技术的摄像头安装位置的需求以及对不同地方安装摄像头的意见进行分析；为进一步了解商家对基于 LBS 技术的视频云服务的功能需求，使用主成分因子分析，运用降维的思想来进行考虑。并得出了结论：①几乎所有类型的餐厅在餐馆内部大堂和排队等位区都适宜安装视频云摄像头，但在厨房安装时则应充分考虑餐饮类型；②餐饮行业商家对于该创新应用需求度最高的4种功能分别为：团购评价应急功能、等位预约功能、查看餐厅内部环境实况功能和提供餐馆基本信息功能。
