Environmental letter visit has become one of the incentives of group events and social instability factors ,and the mediation of environmental letter visit should be valued .The article suggests that based on the environmental letter visit ,the related department should do some works ,including carrying out in -depth investigation ,seeking truth from facts ,strengthening the information disclosure ,supervising environment strictly ,,conducting positive communication and coordination ,solving the problem of pollution ,improving environmental quality ,and protecting public health .%指出了环境信访成为了群体性事件和社会不稳定因素的诱因之一，应重视环境信访的调处。探讨了环境信访调处的思路和方法，提出了以环境信访为抓手，深入调查，实事求是，加强信息公开，严格环境监管，积极沟通协调，解决污染问题，改善环境质量，保障群众身体健康。
