This paper describes the policy background and practical significance of the forest classification and management,points out the basic position of Yuxi forestry in the strategy of ＂Building Ecological City＂,and also introduces the classified management division in Yuxi City and the implementation of the forest ecological benefit compensation.Finally,the paper proposes some countermeasures to further improve the work of the forest ecological benefit compensation.%阐述了实行森林分类经营的政策背景和现实意义,指出了玉溪林业在＂生态立市＂战略中处于基础地位,分析了玉溪市分类经营区划以及实施森林生态效益补偿的情况,提出了进一步搞好森林生态效益补偿工作的对策。
