As an important constituent of global ecological system, the resear- ches on carbon reserves of forest ecosystem become particularly important. This article mainly introduces the current situation of forest vegetation in China, research progress of forest vegetation carbon reserves at home and abroad and carbon sequestration functions of forest vegetation and research contents of carbon storage, and also puts forward the future research trend of carbon storage.
