The Research on Leizhou ballad, which has lasted for nearly 90 years since Huang Jingxing’ study during the period between the end of the Qing Dynasty and the early days of the Republic of China, has accumulated many descriptive results on the origin, variation, lyric and melody, rhyme and tune, and provides many valuable sources for follow-up research. But findings underscored the research patterns has been ossified, research field is limited, the research subjects have been duplicated, and few research methodology has been considered. From macro-scope, the research results appeared in dribs and drabs, free style and superficiality and few breakthroughs has been made;From micro-scope, definitions are still vague, positivistic materials remain absent.% 雷歌研究自清末民初的黄景星起至今近90年,在雷歌起源、流变、词曲形态、音韵及音调等方面积累了较多描述性研究成果,为后续研究提供了宝贵资料,但研究格局僵化,领域有限,主题高度重复,缺乏方法论意识,研究成果宏观上表现零散、随意及表层化,突破性成果匮乏,微观上则有概念模糊缺乏足够实证材料之弊端。
