This study investigates the issue of domain-generality versus domain-specificity of working memory by examining the effect of two semesters of interpreting training on 56 participants' digit span, reading span and listening span. Data analysis indicates that the difference in reading and listening span between pre-test and post-test reaches a statistically significant level whereas the difference in digit span between pre-test and post-test does not. The result obtained supports the domainspecific view but is incompatible with the domain-general view.%本研究通过考察口译训练对数字广度、阅读广度、听力广度的不同影响，探讨工作记忆是否为单一构念问题，即工作记忆资源的领域通用性与领域特异性问题。数据分析显示，经过近两个学期的口译训练，被试的阅读广度与听力广度发生了显著的变化而前后测数字广度的差别没有统计学意义。研究结果支持工作记忆领域特异观，不能在领域通用观的框架内得到解释。
