Paj Ntaub Voice is of great significance during the development of Hmong American literature. In its summer issue of 2001,those Hmong American writers expressed their concern and thoughts about the silent phe-nomenon by presenting us a lot of silent characters. Through exploring the theme of silence,analyzing the reasons and connotation of the silence and how those characters break the silence,this paper intends to have a better inter-pretation of Hmong American literary works and understanding of the writersˊconstructing the discourse power of Hmong female and minorities and also the harmonious coexistence of multi-culture.%《苗绣之声》是美国苗族英语文学发展过程中一本具有重要意义的杂志，其2001年夏刊中的很多作品为读者呈现了诸多沉默的人物形象，表现了作家们对沉默这一现象的关注与思考。以该刊中的若干作品为例，探讨作品中的沉默主题，分析沉默的原因、内涵以及作品中的人物如何打破沉默，以期更好地解读美国苗族英语文学作品，并领悟作家们建构苗族女性与少数族裔话语权以及多元文化和谐共处的愿景。
