Relationship between Th17 and Th22 in patients with primary immune thrombocytopenia

摘要

Objective:To investigate the relationship of Th17 and its cytokine interleukin-17 (IL-17), Th22 and its cytokines, IL-22, IL-6, tumor necrosis cytokines (TNF-α) and the pathogenesis and prognosis of primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and to analyze the effects of glucocorticoids on Th17, Th22 and cytokine. Methods: Th17 and Th22 cells of 52 cases of ITP patients and 50 normal volunteers were measured with flow cytometry. The levels of IL-17, IL-22, IL-6 and TNF-α of two groups were measured with ELISA. The relationship of expressions and prognosis between Th17, Th22 and their cytokines in patients with ITP were analyzed. Results:The levels of Th17, Th22 ratio and IL-17, IL-22, IL-6, TNF-α of ITP group were higher than control groups. The levels of Th17, Th22 ratio and IL-17, IL-22, IL-6, TNF-α of glucocorticoids proportion group were lower than non-glucocorticoids therapy group. The levels of Th17, Th22 ratio and IL-17, IL-22, IL-6, TNF-αof complete remission (CR) group and partial response (PR) were lower than the no-remission group (NR), the differences were statistically significant.Conclusion:Th17 and Th22 may participate in the occurrence and progression of ITP, and their cytokines can be used as indicators of prognosis for patients with the disease. Glucocorticoids can play a therapeutic role through inhibiting the proportion of peripheral Th17 and Th22.
