With the rapid development of China’s tourism industry,the relationship between tourism in-dustry and eeonomie development draws more and more attention of the researehers. In quantitative researeh in transverse and longitudinal direetion by applying Eviews,the authors eompare two groups of data:one is the eoun-try’s GDP in 2012 and the eorresponding tourism revenues;the other is the eountry’s GDP from 2003 to 2012 and tourism revenues. The analysis on experimental data has proven that there is a signifieantly positive eorrelation be-tween them whatever in transverse or longitudinal direetion.%随着中国旅游业的迅速发展，旅游业与经济发展的关系日益引起研究者的重视。对2012年全国各省GDP和旅游业收入、2003至2012年全国GDP和旅游业收入两组数据进行比较，运用Eviews 软件，从纵、横两个方向进行量化分析，结果表明，不管是从横向还是纵向的角度看，两者之间都存在高度的正相关关系。
