Basketball is a sporting event for the purpose of shooting and determining the winner by scores .In game the ability of a player is the main standard of their coach ’s arrangement .According to the tactics need ,The players can be configured into three types which are offensive ,defensive and al‐mighty type .In this paper ,we take the example of team Houston Rockets’ performance in the National Basketball Association (NBA ) in 2013‐2014 season .We use RSR to analysis the players’ abilities and summarize the general principles of the way that coaches select starters .Compared with the starting line‐up in the actual game ,we design a set of scientifically strict players’ assignment model which will be introduced in this paper .%篮球是以投篮得分为目的，以得分数值决定比赛胜负的一项体育赛事。教练安排球员上场的主要衡量标准是球员的能力值。根据战术需要，可以将球员配置成进攻型、防守型、攻守兼备型三种球队类型。本文以美国男子职业篮球联赛（NBA ）中2013‐14赛季休斯顿火箭队为例，采用秩和比法对上场球员的能力值加以分析，总结教练员选择首发球员的一般规律，和实际比赛中的首发阵容进行对比，进而设计出一套科学严谨的球员上场指派模型。
