Teachers' discourse in English classroom plays an extrem ely role for the teaching of classroom content and classroom organization as w ell as the stim ulation of students' enthusiasm . A t present there exist m any problem s for English teachers' classroom discourse, such as the large quantity and poor quality, w hich affect teaching effect. Therefore, it should reduce its quantity and increase its quality appropriately. Through the proper application of classroom discourse on classroom questions, feedback and sum m ary, it should organize classroom teaching and stim ulate students' interest. It can m aster classroom rhythm , and increase teaching effect.% 英语课堂上教师的话语对于课堂内容的传授、课堂组织教学及学生积极性的调动起着极其重要的作用。当前英语教师在课堂上存在课堂话语使用数量过多、质量过低等问题，影响教学效果。因此，要适当减少课堂话语使用数量，提高使用质量，通过课堂提问、反馈、总结等课堂用语的恰当运用，组织好课堂教学，激发学生兴趣，把握课堂节奏，提高教学效果。
