Images in the history of fine arts,in particular,are not only a kind of symbols of human aesthetic emotions but a kind of culture vehicles containing philosophical, folkloristic, ethical and educational meanings. Hundred Kids Playing Games by Jiao Bingzhen,a traditional Chinese painting master of the Qing dynasty is an epitome of such images. The painting illustrates the importance of games to early childhood education of ancient China using vivid and lively images and thus highlights the cultural meaning it conveys.
