Aging degrades the immunity, however, whether this effect is homogeneous or not is obscure. By way of testing the mRNA’s expression level of the related antibacterial genes (BPI/LBP, Nramp, effector mol-ecules and IL-8, regulatory factors) in the different tissues of the annual Nothobranchius guentheri at the dif-ferent month ages, the fact is found that these three kinds of genes all show the heterogeneous expression pat-tern related to the month age and organs. In comparison with the adult fish, the liver tissues of the old fish have more antibacterial genes. After the Lipopolysaccharide Challenge, the old N. guentheri liver’s antibacterial immunity response is weaker.
