While the contemporary Chinese literary theory has made some achievements by mostly absorbing the results of Western literary theory, it also exposes its drawbacks emphasizing on ＂external research＂ and devia- ting from the literary facts of their own. However, ＂facing the literary facts of their own＂, the literary theory re- search can pose valuable questions, not leading itself to be a vassal of other disciplines. ＂Facing the literary facts of their own＂, Ingarden＇s phenomenological literary theory and the ancient Chinese literary theory provide rich re- sources for us to rethink and construct the contemporary Chinese literary theory. In short, the comparison and dis- crimination of the two theories have an important theoretical value.%中国当代文学理论研究多吸收西方文学理论的成果,取得了一定成就的同时,也暴露出其研究重视＂外部研究＂,偏离文学事实本身的弊端,文学理论研究只有＂面向文学事实本身＂,才能提出真正有价值的问题,才能不致成为别的学科的附庸。英伽登的现象学文论和中国古代文论直面文学本身,为我们反思和建设中国当代文学理论提供了丰富的资源,对两者＂面向文学事实本身＂的方式进行比较辨析,具有重要的理论价值。
