During 2011 Daegu IAAF World Championships in Athletics,Chinese team stands the seventh with 1 gold,2 silver and 1 bronze medals on medal tally,with some progress compared with the last world championships in Berlin.However,the present situation about the weakness of track and field in China has not been changed a lot,with a big gap to the United States and Russian,the power top track and field in the world.There has not been distance between the rivals for the Chinese advantage items and no real break-through for the disadvantage items.Now that Mass basis,the scientific research level,the methods of training,reasonable sports system and fund investment play important roles in good performance,there is theoretical and practical significance to find out the bottleneck of restricting Chinese athletic development and put forward strategies to improve the track and field in China.%2011年大邱田径世锦赛上中国队以1金2银1铜的成绩排名奖牌榜第7位,相比上届柏林世锦赛有了一定的进步,但田径是中国队弱项的状况还没有改变,与美国、俄罗斯等田径强国相比仍有较大的差距。优势项目还没有拉开对手之间的距离,劣势项目没有取得实质性的突破。群众基础、科研水平、训练方法手段、体育体制和经费投入等因素是获得优异成绩的重要条件。因此,找出制约中国田径发展的瓶颈,提出对策,对我国田径的长足发展具有一定的理论和实践意义。
