The geographical indications of agricultural products are the symbol and guarantee of the agricultural products' quality.The access and use of geographical indications also influence the sale of agricultural products and the development of regional agriculture.By constructing the econometric regression model,this paper empirically studies the impact of agri-cultural products'geographical indications on the local agricultural development during 2008 -2015 in Jiangxi Province from regional level and county level. Benchmark regression results show that the number of Jiangxi regional agricultural products'geographical indications has a significant positive effect on the local agricultural output value and added value.In order to mitigate the endogeneity problem caused by reverse causation between geographical indications of agricultural prod-ucts and agricultural development,this paper adopts the lag of geographical indications as an instrumental variables,the in-strumental variable regression results are still consistent.The policy implications of the empirical results is that promotion of geographical indications of agricultural products is conducive to the development of regional agricultural economy.Jiangxi can do well in the relevant work of agricultural products'geographical indications from the aspects of expanding publicity, strengthening guidance and support,improving protection and supervision,so as to promote the healthy development of agri-culture.%农产品地理标志是农产品质量的象征和保证,地理标志的获得和使用也影响着农产品的销售及地区农业发展.通过构建计量回归模型,从地区层面和县域层面两个维度实证研究了江西省2008—2015年农产品地理标志对地方农业发展的影响.基准回归结果表明,江西省各地区农产品地理标志数量对地方农业产值和农业增加值具有显著正向作用.为了减缓农产品地理标志与农业发展之间的反向因果带来的内生性问题,文章进一步采用滞后一期的农产品地理标志作为工具变量进行回归分析,结果仍然一致.农产品地理标志的推广有助于地区农业经济的发展,江西省可从扩大宣传、加强引导扶持、完善保护和监管等方面做好农产品地理标志相关工作,从而促进全省农业的健康发展.
