Objective To compared the clinical efficacy of fast track surgery (FTS) and conventional treatment during perioperative period in elderly patients with gastric and colorectal cancer. Methods Patients with gastrointestinal cancer were assigned to receive either FTS (FTS group) or conventional treatment (control group). The time to first flatus, postoperative hospital stay, hospital costs and complications were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with control group, the time to first flatus, length of hospital stay and hospital costs significantly decreased in FTS group (P<0.05). However, there were no differences in complications between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion FTS is a safe and effective treatment during perioperative period in elderly patients with gastrointestinal cancer.%目的 比较围术期应用快速康复外科(FTS)方案和传统方案治疗老年胃癌、结直肠癌患者的临床效果.方法 FTS组采用快速康复外科方案,对照组采用传统方案.对比2组患者术后首次通气时间、术后住院时间、住院费用和并发症等指标.结果 FTS组中胃癌、结直肠癌患者首次通气时间、术后住院时间以及住院费用均明显低于对照组(P<0.05),而并发症例数并没有增加(P>0.05).结论 FTS理念在老年胃肠道肿瘤围术期的应用是安全有效的.
