Trill in singing is one of the significant techniques in acoustic arts, and it can reflect the musical training and artistic construction of the performers. An excellent trill is the rhythmical beats of pitches along with volume and tone. Various factors beat at certain rate within a certain range, which makes the musical sounds both smooth and plea-sure. Trills originate from the inner rhythms of one’s emotions, and are the outer physical expression of the performer’s psychology. To master such a technique, we should strengthen the cultivation of hearing ability to music, the imitation of trills, the guidance of visions and kinesthesis, the control of moods and emotions and the control of rate and range.
