Separation of variables is a very important and commonly used method in quantum mechanics. In this paper, the properties of separation of variables and its application in quantum mechanics were studied in order to further understand the methods of mathematical physics in quantum mechanics.%分离变量法是量子力学中求解问题时最常用的方法之一。本文在分析分离变量法特性的基础上阐明了它在量子力学中的应用，以便于教师和学生在教与学的过程注意总结量子力学的基本特点与方法。
