Cultivating students' comprehensive competencies in listening, speaking, writing, and translation is the chief objective of English learning. A fairly good command of English listening skills is not only a key step for the improvement of the other four competencies, namely, speaking, writing, and translation, but also a guarantee for language learners' communicative competence development.
