Men struggle for human betterment for over thousands of years.In Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein,there are many heroes who struggle for human betterment,such as Frankenstein,the Modern Prometheus,Walton,and even the monster,etc.The better we live today the higher aims we want to reach in the future.In this Gothic novel,Mary Shelley shows her idea of the creation of life and the consequence of it.Some of her descriptions reflect her opinion.
