10厘米ECR离子推力器变推力性能计算评估

         

摘要

电子回旋共振离子推力器作为静电式电推力器的一种,具有高比冲、低推力的特点,目前已被应用于深空探测器的主推进系统.变推力电子回旋共振离子推力器是离子推力器的重要发展方向之一,利用零维模型可以有效地评估其性能.以电子回旋共振离子推力器的离子源为研究对象,采用零维模型,模拟离子源内部能量转换机制和等离子体的产生过程,获得了推力器在"慢速调节机制"下、1~20 mN范围变推力工作的性能参数,如推进剂流量、离子束流、电子温度、离子密度、放电损耗、推进剂利用率及比冲等.利用计算得到的参数对10厘米电子回旋共振离子推力器变推力性能进行了评估,同时分析了在给定气体流量精度条件下推力和比冲所能够达到的精度;在推力及精度条件下计算出推进剂流量、引出离子束流和离子损失的精度要求.%Electron cyclotron resonance ion thruster is a kind of electrostatic electric thruster.Because of its characteristics of high specific impulse and low thrust, this thruster has been used as the main propulsion system of spacecraft in deep space exploration.Variable thrust performance is one of the important development directions of ion thruster.Using 0 dimension model the thrust level can be calculated for the electron cyclotron resonance ion thruster.Taking the ion source of 10cm electron cyclotron resonance ion thruster as the research object, 0 dimension model can be used to simulate the ion source internal energy conversion mechanism and plasma generation process, and to calculate the parameters when thruster operation at slow adjust situation.The calculated parameters can help to analyze the performance and to evaluate the precision of thrust and specific impulse at given gas flow rate accuracy.Meanwhile, the calculated parameters can also help to evaluate the precision of propellant flow rate, ion beam current , ion and electron current loss at given thrust accuracy.
