Objective To observe the effect of moxa stick moxibustion with magnesium sulfate on phlebitis caused by venous indwelling needle. Methods A total of 90 patients with phlebitis caused by venous indwelling needle were randomly divided into observation group (n=45) and control group (n=45). Wet packing with 50% magnesium sulfate was applied in control group while in observation group, in addition to wet packing with 50%magnesium sulfate, moxa stick moxibustion was used. The effects 7 d after the treatment in two groups were observed. Results In observation group, curative effect was significantly better than that in control group (P<0.01). Conclusion For phlebitis caused by venous indwelling needle, the effect of moxa stick moxibustion combined with magnesium sulfate is better than magnesium sulfate only and it is safe and worth to be popularized.% 目的观察艾条灸联合硫酸镁湿敷治疗静脉留置针所致静脉炎的效果.方法将静脉留置针所致静脉炎患者90例按随机数字表法分观察组和对照组各45例，对照组按常规方法予50%硫酸镁湿敷，观察组在采用对照组方法治疗的基础上联合艾条灸治疗，观察比较两组患者7 d后的疗效.结果两组静脉炎治疗效果比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)，观察组疗效明显优于对照组.结论艾条灸联合硫酸镁湿敷治疗静脉留置针所致静脉炎疗效明显优于硫酸镁单一湿敷法，且该方法操作简单，费用低廉，使用安全，患者易于接受，有较高的临床应用价值.
