From the view of constructivism of ecofeminist, this paper argues that the subordination and oppression of women and Nature is structured and perpetuated through language. Through an examination of several common idioms and metaphors within environmental discourse, such as "rape of the land", "virgin forest", "'Mother Earth" and the term "Gaia", one can find that these expressions reinforce patriarchal dualisms and hier- archical traditions, which continue to objectify women and Nature, and perpetuate the separations of humans from each other and the non-human world, and such would be at odds with the aims of the environmental movement. And therefore, this paper proposes that we should continuously question our andro-anthropocentrism language so as to create a progressive, imaginative and ecological egalitarian environmental discourse.%从建构主义的生态女性主义观点出发,本文认为女人和自然的从属和压抑通过语言被结构化和永恒化了。
