差分与快速图象分形映射压缩算法

         

摘要

In this paper, a new fractal image coding algorithm is presented to process imag e coding by difference and approximation with various grey levels because the co ding time of classical fractal image coding algorithm is very long. In addition, some researches with respect to its feasibility in compression theory are also discussed and the theoretical foundation of the new algorithm is given. Based on the idea, a new concrete algorithm for realizing fractal image coding is design ed in the paper. The experimental results show that the new algorithm can improv e compression ratio and reconstruct high quality images while computational time of image coding is reduced greatly.%文章针对分形编码算法编码时间太长等缺点提出了对编码图象进行差分和分级逼近的新的分形编码算法.对这一思想的可行性在理论上进行了有益的探索,给出了该算法成立的理论基础.文章还根据此思想给出了一个新的具体实现分形编码的算法.实验表明,在提高压缩比和图象恢复质量的同时,运算时间也大大缩短
