In this study, the antiinfection properties of antibacterial urethral catheter were investigated. The antibacterial urethral catheter was made by covering self-made antibacterial natural latex on the common urethral catheter. The antibacterial experiments were carried in vitro. The urethral catheter was intubated into the experimental animal urethra in vivo. The inflammatory cells from urethra and IL-10, TNF-a from blood serum were detected at 1, 2, 3, and 4 weeks separately. The antibacterial test shows that the antibacterial urethral catheter was superior to the common one in inhibiting bacteria growth. In vivo experiments show that the inflammation reaction increased with time in both groups, but the antibacterial group was significantly lower than the common control. The urethral catheter covered with self-made antibacterial natural latex had a better anti-infectivity property than the common one, and could resist infectivity for a long time in animal experiments.%研究了自制医用抗菌导尿管的抗感染性能.用自制的抗菌天然胶乳对现有普通导尿管进行涂覆,制备了具有抗菌涂层的抗菌导尿管,进行了体外抑菌实验,并通过在体动物尿道插管实验,检测了1周、2周、3周、4周尿道炎性细胞及血清中抗炎细胞因子(IL-10)和促炎细胞因子(TNF-α)的表达.抑菌实验研究表明,涂覆有抗菌天然胶乳的导尿管的抑菌效果明显好于普通导尿管;在体插管动物实验发现,随着时间的推移,抗菌导尿管的炎性反应有所增加,但显著低于普通导尿管.研究表明,涂覆有抗菌天然胶乳的导尿管在抗感染方面明显优于普通导尿管,且作用持久.
