Cutting over the painters' concern about painting language and character shape, starting with specific phenomena, and combining with the development and communication of Buddhism art, this research analyses the west region's Buddhism portrait, unscrambles the Buddhism portrait's painting language feature, to disclose their image features;proceeding with art language view, this research studies the law of painting, traditional culture type and social change from two principal line----time and space;and through the analysis above, this research explores the factors forming these features of characters' shape in wall painting.%本研究以绘画实践者对绘画语言、人物造型的关注为切入点,从具体现象入手,结合佛教艺术的发展、传播,对西域佛教人物画形象进行剖析,解读佛教人物画形象的绘画语言特点,从而揭示其形象特征;从艺术语言的角度入手,从时间和空间两条主线研究绘画与传统文化形态、社会变革的规律;并通过以上分析来探寻形成壁画人物造型这些特点的成因.
