时变透镜设计理论研究

         

摘要

Time-varying magnetic lens is a new device in Linear Induction Accelerator(LIA) for focused focal spot consistency adjustment of the burst multi-pulse. This paper describes two design schemes for the time-varying lens, using the PIC method to simulate the beam focus after a time-varying magnetic lens. The results of simulations prove it is feasible that time-varying lens can be used to adjust the focal length and focal spot radius by comparing with focusing effect of conventional magnetic lens. The problems in the design are put forward so as to identify further research work.%  时变透镜是针对猝发多脉冲直线感应加速器(LIA)聚焦后的焦斑一致性调节问题所提出的新型装置。本文提出了时变透镜的2种设计方案,并且用 PIC 方法模拟了束流经过时变透镜的聚焦过程。通过与常规磁透镜的聚焦效果相对比,验证时变透镜对束流的焦距和焦斑半径具有一定的调节作用,从理论上证明了时变透镜方案的可行性。最后提出了设计中遇到的问题,从而确定了进一步的研究工作。
