民国时期是社会的大变革时期，云南民众的消费生活发生了很多不同于传统的变化，并率先在开风气之先的昆明流行，进而影响至全省，最终形成省会——地方城市——四周乡镇层层辐射的消费变化模式。由于各地经济发展水平不一、交通运输条件有异，因而消费变化的程度也不一样，中心城市和地理位置优越的城镇表现明显，普通城镇不太显著，而广大乡村十分微弱甚至在局部处于相对静止之中。%The period of the Republic of China is the period of social transformation. There have been a lot of differences from the traditional variation of Yunnan people's consumption life, which take the lead in leading Kunming pop, and then inlfuence all the province, and ultimately form consumption patterns of capital city and the local Township layers of radiation. Due to different levels of economic development, and trafifc conditions the degree of consumer changes are not the same, the center city and the town whose geographical position is superior are obvious, the ordinary town is not obvious, while the vast majority of the country is very weak or even motionless in the local area.
