The argument for ration and desire is a dispute gradually evolved from the ancient time in China. Discus- sion about it is made mainly from the following two aspects: one is "Saving the Nature's Law and Eliminating the Human Desire" , the other is "Pursuing the Nature's Law in the Human Desire". Some people in the modem socie- ty are unaware of the differences between them, either, which may result not only from the social development since the reform and opening up but also from the bafflement of "false illusions". Therefore, it is imperative to strengthen the guidance of the society to achieve the various pursuits, besides, it is also essential for individuals to strengthen their moral consciousness to promote their taste.%理欲之辩是中国自古发展而来的一种争论，古代主要从“存理灭欲”和“欲中见理”两个方面做了探讨。在现代社会中，也存在理欲不明的问题。这既有改革开放以来社会发展的影响原因，也有被“虚幻的假象”所迷惑的原因。为此，就需要社会加强引导，实现多种追求；同时也需要个人加强道德自觉，提升品位。
