Language is not only a part of the culture, but also the carrier and the reflection of culture, and therefore, the input of target language culture on the purpose of training the students＇ cross - cultural ability has become necessary in college English teaching. However, the ignorance of the contents of the Chinese culture, also called the aphasia of Chinese culture, in cross - cultural communication has caused concerns and worries in college foreign language teaching field.
