Hakka culture is an integral part of Chinese culture, and Hakka folk sports are important manifestation and carrier of Hakka culture. Hakka folk sports in western Fujian are the general-life and ritual-based cultural collection created by Hakka ancestors over a long period of time while seeking for survival and development. To discuss the development paths of Hakka folk sports in western Fujian in the course of rural urbanization and to promote the heritage and development of such folk sports, this paper takes the folk sports as research object, employs such methods as literature survey, logical inference, field investigation and interview, and combines the actual situation of folk sports in the Hakka areas of western Fujian.%客家文化是中华文化的重要组成部分，客家民俗体育是客家文化的重要体现，是客家文化重要的传承载体。闽西客家民俗体育是客家先民长时期以来在谋生存和求发展的过程中创造的具有普遍模式的生活化、仪式化的文化集合体。以闽西客家民俗体育为研究对象，应用文献资料法、逻辑推理法、实地调查法、访谈法，结合闽西客家地区民俗体育的实际情况，探讨闽西客家民俗体育在农村城镇化进程中的发展路径，以促进客家民俗体育的传承和发展。
