The minority traditional values, penetrating in the traditional cultural system, are one important part of traditional Chinese values. The minority values, the profound condensation of traditional culture, clash and blend with modernity on the dee- pest level. This paper, by analyzing the tradition, this feature of the northwest minority values and its contradictions with modern society, aims to seek the modernization of this traditional value and its compensation to the natural defects of modern values.
