In the light of the unique local cultural characteristics of Bozhou folk paper cutting, in this paper, the local folk paper cutting is studied through semiotic theory. From icon, index and convention, the symbol characteristics of Bozhou folk paper cutting are analyzed. Moreover, connotative meanings of Bozhou paper cutting symbol are elaborated at the ideographic, perceptual and narrative level.%针对亳州民间剪纸独具特色的本土文化特征,通过符号学理论对当地民间剪纸进行了艺术研究,从像似符号、指示符号、规约符号三个方面剖析了亳州民间剪纸的符号特征.另外,从表意层、感性层、叙事层阐述了亳州剪纸符号的内涵意义.
