This paper analyses the cultural meaning of shi radical and discovers the partial language and cultural information of words containing shi radical and explains the cultural information from five aspects: production instrument,stone building,medical treatment,military arm and cultural entertainment.%剖析了＂石＂部字所蕴含的文化涵义,揭示了蕴含在＂石＂部字所记录词汇中的部分语言文化信息,并从生产工具、石材建筑、医疗治病、军事武器、文化娱乐五个方面诠释石部字所隐含的文化内涵。
