In this paper the history of machine translation is firstly described.Then the evolution of parsing strategies of source lan-guage is introduced.The parsing strategies include direct approach, rule-based approach and heuristic preprocessing approach. Final-ly, a complete heuristic parser ( CHP) is presented.%本文简要地回顾了机器翻译发展的历史,介绍了基于语言规则的机器翻译方案中的源语言分析方法及其发展过程,具体包括:直译式方法、基于产生式规则的方法以及基于启发式预处理的方法. 深入分析并总结了各种分析方法的利弊,最后提出了一种基于全启发策略的语言分析模型,并开发了高效的全启发式语言分析系统.
