《桥》和《莫须有先生传》都属于叙述节奏缓慢、故事时间跨度却很大的文本。两部小说在时间大幅度流转上有明显和暗含的不同，在文本结束时呈开合或封闭的不同，这种同中有异的叙事时间与禅宗“观心看净”“识心见性”的思想内涵紧密联系。废名的创作深受禅宗的“凡有所相，皆是及虚妄”“自性迷，佛即众生”等思想及“悟”的思维方式的影响。%The narrative rhythm of The Bridge and Biography of Mr.Fabricated is slow, but the time span of these two texts are very large .In both of the novels the time has changed dramatically , the differences lie in that the time changes significantly in one and imperceptibly in the other .At the end of the text , the trend of the two novels is also to open and shut down in two different states .This kind of narrative time is closely re-lated to the ideas of Zen such as “thinking and cleaning”,“recognizing and seeing heart”.Fei Ming ’ s cre-ations are deeply influenced by Zen enlightenment , such as “everything is nothing”,“the Buddha blesses the multitude”, etc., and the thinking mode of “Wu”.
