Based on functional grammar,this paper gives a theoretical analysis of the unique charac-teristics of the final auxiliaries in the sentences of the Jingpo language which fall into two types,and explains their complementary functions.There are 31 6 auxiliaries in the first type.These auxiliaries only appear after the predicate and through morphological changes express the predicate's mood,per-son,number,aspect,and direction.The second type syntactically follows the first type.However, they are fewer in number and have no morphological changes and express a kind of mood,including the quality,the source,the reliability and the certainty of that information.These two types are func-tionally different but complementary.%本文发现景颇语句尾词有“尾1”、“尾2”两类。文中使用功能系统理论来分析这两类句尾词的特点及功能互补。指出“尾1”紧跟在谓语之后，数量多达316个，通过形态变化表达谓语的语气以及人称、数、体、方向等语法意义；“尾2”位于“尾1”之后，数量少，没有形态变化，表示情态意义，包括信息来源的性质、状态、可靠性、确定性等语法意义。二者功能不同，相互补足。
