郭沫若承认自己在翻译米海里司著作中受到影响,还明言在研究中国古史上受益于王国维.王国维"二重证据法"是中国本土金石学的遗产.郭沫若受自米海里司的影响主要是观念性的,而来自王国维的影响则是具体的甲骨金石释文和技术方法.王国维和米海里司共同影响郭沫若的中国古史研究,或者说郭沫若研究中国古史的路数是中西学术共同影响的结果.%Guo Moruo admitted that he was under the influence of both Adoef Michaelis and Wang Guowei in his translating the former's works. Wang Guowei followed the tradition of the early Chinese archeology, and adopted the method of double evi-dences. Adoef Michaelis's influence on Guo Moruo was mainly some ideas,while Wang Guowei's was mainly technical in the study of inscriptions on ancient bronzes and stone tablets. Thus,it is safe to say that Guo Moruo's approaches to Chinese ancient history were the results of the Western and Chinese influence.
