[Objective]To observe the clinical effect of SD treated with revised Buyang Huanwu Decoction.[Method] Randomly divide 70 cases into treat-ment and control groups; the treatment one oral y took revised TCM Buyang Huanwu Decoction, the control one, Donepezil Hydrochloride Tablets; 2 groups were made score under MMSE and ADL before treatment and 1 and 2m after treatment. [Result] Both groups MMSE scores increased, ADL de-creased, and the treatment group was much better than control one, with difference of statistical meaning. [Conclusion] Buyang Huanwu Decoction has definite cure effect on SD.% [目的]观察补阳还五汤为主加减治疗老年痴呆症的临床疗效。[方法]将符合病例的70例随机分为治疗组和对照组。治疗组口服中药补阳还五汤加减治疗，对照组口服盐酸多奈哌齐片治疗，两组分别在治疗前及治疗1、2个月后进行简易智能精神状态检查量表（MMSE）和日常生活能力量表（ADL）评分。[结果]两组MMSE评分增长，ADL评分下降，治疗组明显优于对照组，差异有统计学意义（P＜0.05）。[结论]补阳还五汤加减治疗老年痴呆症疗效确切。
