William Morris pattern takes decorative flowers as motif with flowers, leaves, grass interspersed in symmetrical rattan. The precise structure and the compact arrangement give a strong decorative effect. This paper briefly describes the origin and development of William Morris pattern and specifically analyzes the ap-plication of William Morris pattern in modern dress pattern, modern interior decorative textiles and plane dec-orative pattern design.
