The paper takes the FCP technology as an example, combining with the editing case ,"Heaven does not believe in tears"to discuss relationship between time and space of camera lens, selection and process of splice junction ,the tone selection, and editing techniques. It focuses on the role that editing techniques play on rendering the plot such as cut, close-up, slitting, clipping, cutting insert, and grid editing.
