中国城市农民工已达1．6亿，但他们难以融入城市社会。社会融入不仅是社会经济问题，也是信息问题。对天津市和重庆市566名农民工的调查表明，城市农民工是信息弱势群体，缺乏现代信息交流工具和能力，信息缺失足其融入城市的巨大障碍；现代信息交流工具和信息渠道对城市农民工社会融入有显著影响。因此，公共图书馆应从服务、信息检索培训和提供公共信息设施等方面对其开展信息援助，促进其社会融入。%There are more than 160 million migrant workers in Chinese urban. But these migrant workers are hard to integrate into the urban society well. The social integration is not only a social economic problem, but also an information matter. The investigation into 566 migrant workers in Tianjin and Chongqing shows that migrant workers are information disadvantage groups, they are lack of modern information communication tools and abilities, the information default is the greatest obstacle for migrant workers when they integrate into the urban. It also shows that modern information communication tools and channels have the significant positive influence on the social integration of migrant workers. Therefore, public libraries should carry out the information assistance for migrant workers from services, the information retrieval training and providing public information infrastructures, in order to promote the social integration of migrant workers.
