Binding is a traditional storage of overdue paper periodicals.This article states the binding links in detail of the Na-tional library of China while processing overdue paper periodicals,and investigates some new ways such as paper bags,boxes, plastic packaging,cardboard and so on to collect the overdue paper periodicals.With the change of publication situation and the progress of technology,the library can adopt diversification storage such as classified storage,cooperative storage,digital storage and other modes according to its own situation.%装订是纸本过刊的传统存储方式.文章就国家图书馆采用装订方式对过刊进行存储的各个环节进行了详细的陈述,调研了国家图书馆期刊非装订存储方式,即纸袋、盒装、塑封、纸板等集中收纳形式的具体方法.最后提出了随着出版形势的变化和技术的进步,各图书馆可结合自身情况,采取分类收纳、合作存储、电子存储等多元化的过刊存储方式的具体举措.
