Starting with the development of think tank, we introduce the growth of think tanks in recent years. Then, through the analysis of the document information (2006—2015) that are collected from web of Science and CNKI by using the tool of“CiteS-pace”, to learn more about the national distribution, the institutions and its co-operation, and the burst terms. After the quantita-tive and qualitative analysis of think tanks, we focus on China and sum up the characteristics and the main developing trends of think tanks that integrated with the background and our social environment. Which are intending to provide useful advices for the development of Chinese think tanks.%从智库的发展历程入手，介绍近年来全球以及重要国家的智库发展概况。然后进一步从文献信息分析的角度出发，运用CiteSpace软件分别从国别、机构和突现词三个方面分析了目前学界对国内外智库的研究情况，从整体上把握全球智库的发展态势。最后结合实际，总结现阶段我国智库发展的主要特点及其发展趋势，以期为当前我国智库的发展提供有益参考。
