The paper uses PEST strategic analytic model to construct the external environment index system for enterprises in China, and uses the 2008 data and principal component factor analysis method to compare the different external environment situations at the provincial level to find out that the external environment of enterprises in China overall is unsatisfying and worse than expected, and there exist significantly different environmental advantages among the differernt regions.%借助PEST战略分析模型,构建了我国企业外部环境评价指标体系,并利用2008年数据和主成因子方法分析、比较我国各省市自治区企业外部环境,发现我国各地区企业外部环境状况堪优,而且各地区的环境优势也存在较大差异.
